Our cupping treatments are performed by TCM doctors with substantial experience in both Chinese medicine and contemperary western medicine.
Cupping is most commonly used to treat musculoskeletal pains, but it is capable of much more.
What are the benefits of cupping?
Cupping is one of the most important techniques in Traditional Chinese Medicine. This famous therapy is widely used to treat musculoskeletal conditions like shoulder pain and back pain, but is also useful for stress, depression, and recovery after a cold or flu.
Cupping treatment can be used alone or in conjunction with other treatments like acupuncture. It is a non-invasive technique that gives a promising long-term solution for a great range of conditions.
What happens during the treatment?
Dry Cupping treatment uses low air pressure to create a suction force, making the glass cups pulling onto the skin. It works by increasing local blood circulation, which in turn speeds up tissue repair, restoring the normal capacities of the body.
The session takes about half and hour in total. The therapist will usually leave the cup on your body for 10-15 minutes. Please note that occasionally bruises or small blisters may appear. These normally disappear in a few days, depending on your body condition.
